Japandi
Where zen meets hygge
You crave calm, intentional spaces where every object earns its place. Your ideal home blends Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy with Scandinavian hygge warmth — clean-lined oak furniture softened by linen, raw ceramics, and the deliberate beauty of imperfection. You understand that true luxury is restraint: a single branch in a handthrown vase says more than a shelf of decorative objects ever could.

How to get the look
- Honour 'ma' (negative space) — every surface needs breathing room. If a shelf holds three objects, remove one
- Ground the room with a low-profile oak or walnut coffee table; the closer furniture sits to the floor, the calmer the space feels
- Build your palette from two anchor neutrals — warm white + oat — then introduce ONE muted accent: sage, clay, or charcoal
- Layer exactly three textures per room: something woven (linen/rattan), something smooth (ceramic/stone), something organic (wood grain/plaster)
